Description

Air handling will carry smoke through a building faster than the fire spreads. A duct detector samples the air inside the duct and shuts the plant down before the system distributes smoke to floors that are not yet involved.

Revere installs sampling tubes across the duct width and interlocks the detector with the AHU control so the shutdown is automatic.
