Public Address System

A public address system carries routine announcements and, when it is designed as a voice alarm, the evacuation message as well. A spoken instruction moves people faster than a bell, because it tells them what to do rather than that something is wrong.

Intelligibility is the whole job. Revere lays out speakers for even coverage at low volume rather than a few loud sources, sets zone boundaries so one floor can be addressed alone, and provides battery standby for emergency duty.

What the system includes
